1st let me say, it is an amazing plugin, thank you very much

few things I couldn't figure out, I'm probably missing a few basic stuff.

1. when trying to listen to a song the chords plugin starts the processing and doesn't let me listen to the song in the meanwhile
2. can't find a way of not letting the plugin to process the song and just let winamp (5.54) play as usual
3. after processing the song the chords run through the window as it should but no sound is heard.
4. can I slow things down (not a pro guitar player yet :-) ), is this what the small bar with red dot on the right does?
5. trying to close the window (in the hope it will let winamp play normally) just minimizes the window. is there a way to temporary disable the plugin without uninstall?

running:
windows XP
winamp pro 5.54 + AISO4ALL
2Gb RAM
Intel core2duo 2.13Ghz
Creative X-FI Elite sound card

again
thank you very much
you guys rock
Clonimu74,

Thanks for the post. Can you please clarify what you mean by "the chords plugin starts the processing and doesn't let me listen"? What do you see and hear?

The small bar with the red dot is the relative volume of the mixed-in chords.

To temporarily disable the DSP part of the plugin, go to Options | Preferences | Plug-ins | DSP\/Effect and highlight (none)
what I meant was that while the chords are visible no audio is heard. not the song and not the chords midi audio.
what about an option to control the speed of the chord display?
So the sound disappeard when you installed Easy Chords?

Have you tried turning the DSP plug-in off as I suggested?

How would you control the speed of the chords? It depends on the speed of the song. It's possible to slow down the song without changing the pitch, but we don't have it in the current release.
didn't try disable the DSP like you said yet.
truth is that since I installed the plugin my sound screwed up completely, I have instances that the sound heard only in one speaker (not only in winamp so it might be coincidence) so I'm in a process of getting my system to work as it should before re-installing the plugin and checking it again.
if I disable the DSP as you said, the plugin will not work, shouldn't I hear audio while it is working as well?
sorry about the sound. does the sound work in other apps? only winamp is screwed up?

not sure what you mean by the last question. if the DSP is disabled, Easy Chords will not mix in the chords.
