I would be thankfult to you for telling me where exactly on windows is installed Easy Chords because i've installed that winamp plugin and use it but i can' t find the result of its work.

The plugin is installed in Winamp's plugin directory, \\\\Program Files\\\\Winamp\\\\Plugins

Hiii there, First of all i would like to say that this plugin really rocks... Most of the time its gives very accurate chords....Really loved this plugin... I wanted some help..... Can you tell me where are the chords saved?

The chords are saved in text files. Look inside the file CBMSchpr_*.dat

in your C:\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\<username>\\\\Local Settings\\\\Temp folder

The files are all listed in that file.

Has anyone ever lost all of their previously processed songs?  They were all there and playing correctly last night and they're missing today.  I can't locate the .txt files in the temp directory on my drive or actually on a week-old backup of my temp directory.  (I haven't done a disk cleanup or any other activity that would eliminate those files.  Thanks for any input.

If the files are not in \\\\Documents and Settings\\\\<your username>\\\\Local Settings\\\\Temp

(and cataloged in a file CBMSchpr_<some random characters>.dat in the same folder)

then it means that the system cleaned them up.

In future versions, we'll save the files in a more reliable location.

... or let the user define where the working folder will reside. 

I found it interesting that the system must have deleted those files at month's end... perhaps a coincidence.  I think I'll back up the temp folder weekly, so as not to lose those songs that have been processed.

Awesome software, by the way.  It's made a real difference in my playing and is just a lot of fun in general.  Thanks!
